Issue 2.2 of The Unmooring Journal is out today!
This issue comes after a longer interval than we would normally take. Our team of journal editors, Kylie Riley, R. Sawan White, and myself are all volunteers, publishing each issue in time we’re able to eek out from working and raising our children. It’s our privilege to publish each issue of this magazine, and every time we find ourselves doubting whether to keep going, we receive messages via email and social media thanking us for creating this space and for featuring the voices and art of the women included in the issues of this journal.
We are so grateful to everyone who has supported the mission of this nonprofit, and for Christ’s grace in the midst of a chaotic, brutal and beautiful world that allows us to be part of this work. We knew that abundance would be a challenging theme in a time where it often feels like nothing but suffering abounds, but God is our refuge and our strength, and his mercies never come to an end.
Thank you as always for your support of the women involved in this project, and the work of amplifying women’s voices on issues of Christian faith. We are so very thankful for this community.
